Its pages, with copious illustrations, give us a complete overview of the technical materials in use at the beginning of the last century. We see there from cameras to the most diverse articles, such as an anachronistic "Support - Heads" -used in the times of the daguerreotype and ambrotype-; albums to collect photographs and a rich sample of vignettes for printing photography house cards.

The firm Eugenio Widmayer and its supplier of equipment and materials for photographs, based in 872 Cuyo street in Buenos Aires, and branch in Rosario, in 810 San Martín street, is of capital importance for the activity in our country. The Widmayers settled in Buenos Aires in 1888. SEH-IX
