David Tobias Bamberg (Derby, England: 1904 - Buenos Aires, Argentina: 1974) was one of the most renowned illusionists, who performed under the name of Fú-Manchú. English by origin, he was the eldest son of another prominent illusionist -Okyto-, and from a very young age he fell in love with an international audience with his performances stopping over in England and the United States of North America, to later make a tour of Europe and finally , one for South America, when he settled in our country.

Here he began his career in 1929 under the stage name of Fú-Manchú and built a show called "Magic Bazaar". He was so successful -his shows were distinguished by the comedy that characterized him- that he was even hired to act in six films in Mexico. In the 1960s he retired from the stage to dedicate himself to transmitting his knowledge through a magic club that he presided over. He is remembered as one of the great magicians of the 20th century internationally. S.O.V-BMM
