There is a little-studied chapter in Argentine photography; We are referring to the old photo billboards that were located on the glass doors of the main cinemas and, sometimes, even on special billboards in their hall, where the aforementioned film on display was promoted through some photographs.

In this image the young singer from Tucumán Ramón Bautista Ortega Saavedra (1941), better known by his stage name "Palito Ortega", poses in front of the camera; he does it with a cane and a ranch hat, against the background of a curious scenography made by none other than the famous Spanish painter and set designer Gregorio Muñoz Santoro (1906-1978) better known as Gori Muñoz.

"Palito" was the main actor in the Argentine film "Los años locos" (1971), a musical comedy. He did it in the role of a bohemian and well-placed young man who abandons everything to follow a traveling company dedicated to the music hall.
